Registration for all storytimes and craft programs is required. All storytimes and crafts are held in the Seymour Library's Kidz Korner Program Room.

 

Bouncy Babies (Ages 3-12 months)

Special Programs

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month

 

Throughout September, customers who check out library materials with their Evergreen Indiana library card from the Seymour, Crothersville or Medora libraries or on the Discovery Bus may enter their name into a prize drawing to win an iPod nano. Customers who sign up for a new Evergreen Indiana library card will also receive a free library replica courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

 

Nosey Animals: International Literacy Month Celebration

Put-Your-Nose-in-a-Book-Day

Open to all ages

An adult must accompany children.

Registration is required.

 

Celebrate Put-Your-Nose-in-a-Book-Day at the Seymour library by participating in nosey animal themed crafts, activities and a storytime.

Monday: Make your own Golden Snitch as played in Quidditch in the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

Tuesday: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trivia.

Wednesday: Make your own Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows bookmark.

Thursday: Sign up to win the book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Friday: Prize winners will be announced.

 

Participants may also stop by the Seymour Library's Kidz Korner Help Desk and choose which "house" (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin) they want to be in by picking up a Hogwarts crest.
