To celebrate National Library Card Sign up Month in September and National Book Month in October, the Jackson County Public libraries will display top book choices of library staff. Everyone can vote for their favorite book during this time. The winning choices will be posted and displayed on November 4, Election Day.
Check It Out
Library cards are free to those living in the library's service area. It costs only $2 to replace a lost card. The library offers books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs and videotapes, music CDs, computers, and other multimedia materials. Most can be borrowed for home use simply by showing a library card.
All customers who register for their first library card in September will receive a free "Vote For Books" plastic book bag and bookmark.
